Pocket of Lollipops: Where Music Meets Art in Immersive Chaos
Pocket of Lollipops are a Miami-based duo, formed by multidisciplinary artist Maitejosune Urrechaga (bass) and writer-filmmaker Tony Kapel (drums), blurs the boundaries between sound, visual art, and performance. Their noise rock/punk aesthetic transforms into participatory art experiences like coloring stations, balloon popping, and paper ball fights inviting audiences into a surreal, ever shifting world. Distortion becomes a brushstroke and rhythm a thread. Pocket of Lollipops delivers art disguised as music, music disguised as art, a mystery that refuses to be solved.
