A closing audio-visual performance putting to rest Richard Vergez’s ongoing installation, The Light Pours Out of Me. It includes the artist himself, along with the two performers who opened the installation in January during IGNITE 2024 — Ana Mendez and Marcela Loayza. It opens with a series of repetitive, technical actions in an attempt to break down the nucleus of the audio setup, turning performative and slightly chaotic before giving way to a meditative atmosphere.

A Cuban-American visual and sound artist who creates hand-made collage works on paper and mixed media experiments and combines human and technological elements related to ideas surrounding an ever-evolving modern dystopian identity.
