Experimental 3D Animation with Blender is a two-week, hands-on summer camp introducing high school students to character-driven experimental animation using Blender, a free, professional-grade 3D creation tool used in animation, games, and digital media.

Rather than focusing on technical complexity or realism, this workshop emphasizes expressive movement, playful experimentation, and storytelling through motion. Students learn foundational 3D concepts by creating short animated character studies that explore emotion, timing, and personality.

No prior experience with Blender or 3D software is required.
