The 2026 edition of South Florida’s premier festival is the most ambitious yet, featuring an array of public, interactive light-and-sound-based art installations. The event runs for 10 days with over 25 spectacular displays across four Broward County locations: MAD Arts in Dania Beach, Reverend Samuel Delevoe Memorial Park in Fort Lauderdale, ArtsPark at Young Circle in Hollywood, and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
With over 80,000 visitors attending last year, the festival has become a major cultural draw. It includes immersive large-scale projection mapping, interactive light sculptures and installations, sound-based experiences, musical performances, and family-friendly programming by local, national, and international artists. In addition, this year will feature a showcase of young emerging local artists from MAD Art & Tech Studio Program, who will debut their work at IGNITE Broward. Broward County Cultural Division
The Broward County Cultural Division invests in and promotes the arts and culture sector and the creative community. It offers grants to cultural organizations and artists, manages the County's Public Art & Design Program, and advances the creative sector through community engagement programs, special events, and capacity-building opportunities. By nurturing local talent and fueling Broward's creative infrastructure, the Division enhances the County's cultural environment and economic vitality.
