About the Project

The idea for Giant Clyde, a monumental sculpture of Clyde Moop the dog, was born from a blend of heartfelt affection and playful creativity. Serving as both a tribute and a symbol, Giant Clyde represents the magic, love, and joy that Clyde inspires.

Created in Detroit by local artists and makers, the sculpture also celebrates the city’s inventive spirit and industrious energy. Giant Clyde is designed to spark curiosity, delight audiences, and bring people together through a shared sense of wonder.

About This Event

On December 13th, we gather for a special event dedicated not only to celebrating Giant Clyde’s journey, but also to raising funds for All About Animals Rescue – Detroit.

This event will also serve as a content and concept showcase for Dragon Preserves.

We’ll be documenting Giant Clyde’s travel from Detroit to MAD Arts using cameras, drones, and other tools. This footage will become part of the experience on December 13th, illustrating how storytelling, art, and movement can merge to inspire engagement and impact.
