A celebration of South Florida’s unique cinematic voices and tradition, this two-day event is designed to educate, inspire, and connect. Turning MAD Arts into a gathering place where Hollywood decision-makers can mingle with South Florida filmmakers, the Forum will feature special screenings, panel discussions with industry experts and leaders, and ample networking opportunities. That includes dance parties and themed cocktail hours, with free drinks throughout the weekend.


White Elephant Group (WEG)
Based in Miami, WEG Films is an artist-run hybrid film collective, production house and nonprofit incubator dedicated to championing underserved emerging filmmakers. The organization exists to tell great stories and ensure that South Florida filmmakers have the support to tell theirs. Over its 13-year history, WEG Films’ work has found international success, screening at major festivals including Tribeca, Slamdance, and Miami Film Festival.
Film Lauderdale
This full-service concierge Film Commission provides locations and logistics assistance, issues film permits for 27 municipalities, coordinates with state and federal entities, offers referral resources, and nurtures local content creators. A streamlined, one-stop production shop, Film Lauderdale’s mission is to attract film, television, commercial, and print production to Broward County, creating economic growth, high-wage jobs, and new opportunities for small businesses.

Made up of nine members elected by district, this organization’s mission is to provide the highest level of service and leadership to benefit all who live, learn, work, and play in Broward County.
