The Wax Worms are a "worm next door" psychedelic indie band hailing from sunny Miami, Florida. Originally formed in 2017, the band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Max Harrison, guitarist Ryan Garcia, bassist Max Trullenque, drummer Caleb Carr, and keyboardist Alejandro Quevedo.  

The band's music is an eclectic blend of psychedelic rock, blog-era indie rock, and warm ’70s AM easy-listening, drawing inspiration from acts such as Todd Rundgren, The Flaming Lips, and The Velvet Underground, as well as bands from the Global South and East, such as Telegraph Avenue, Los Zafiros, and Shintaro Sakamoto. Live, the Wax Worms combine classic-rock energy and post-punk absurdity to deliver a dynamic performance that blends sound with surrealistic digital and analog visuals, animation, and props.
